Edible Dresses Made From Chocolate at Salon du Chocolat in Switzerland

This is the first Salon du Chocolat in Switzerland. It was taking place in Zurich from March 30 through April 1. The Salon du Chocolat happened in Paris for the first beginning in 1994. Since then, it was spreading out with 20 cities around the world. The Salon provided chocolate tastings and after that they might have possibility to see chocolatiers at work. Note that this is the whole education in chocolate. In the later, there was an extra treat such as fashion show including clothes produced from chocolates.

Between chocolate and model’s skin it is really not produced. That is, with the way henna there is applied in ornamental motifs to skin linked to some cultures. Designers seem to apply the chocolate swirls to the model’s legs, arms, shoulder and neck. By the way, the human body temperature with 37 Celsius, it showed quite a challenge because the chocolate may melt at 33 Celsius. The white chocolate may melt even faster than brown chocolate. Accordingly, said by designer Renggli “We had to figure out a way to raise the melting temperature”. This was to be managed by adding pectin, a binder, among other things.
